German-Turkish Youth Bridge supports the Miletus Summer School

Since 2022, the summer school in Miletus has been organised in cooperation between the University of Hamburg, the Berlin University of Applied Sciences and the Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi Istanbul. Numerous students have applied in the last two years to take part in an intensive programme to familiarise themselves with the practice of analogue and digital methods of archaeological building recording and to get to know the research environment of an international excavation team. The previous summer schools were generously funded by the DAAD, which has, however, currently suspended the corresponding funding programme. We are therefore all the more grateful that the 2024 summer school can take place with the financial support of the Gençlik Köprüsü Türkiye-Almanya!
